ST. CHARLES, MO (KMOX)-A man threatening to harm himself and any police officers who approach, has been holed up in a St. Charles home for most of Thanksgiving Day.
Police Lt. Dave Senter tells KMOX police were called to the home at McClay and Hackman for a domestic disturbance at about 9:45 am. Officers were met by family members outside the home.
Senter says officers had been in contact with the man on the telephone for most of the day, but that contact stopped at about 3 pm. At one point officers fired tear gas into the house.
Senter says no shots have been fired.
