So,  where does that powerball money wind-up in Missouri?

Missouri Lottery spokesperson Susan Goedde says roughly 25 cents on the dollar goes to education. Those who sold the tickets, retailers, get about six cents on the dollar. the state lottery takes in just over four cents on the dollar for administrative costs.

Based on projected sales prior to Wednesday night’s drawing…lottery officials estimated Missouri education would get ten million dollars, just from this Powerball game.
