GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOX) – Police report no serious injures, after an elderly driver struck the table where three kids and an adult were selling cookies in Granite City, Tuesday afternoon.
Police Major Jeff Conner says one child was sent to the hospital for precautionary measures. None of the injuries are said to be serious.
Conner says the elderly woman was trying to pull into a handicapped parking spot at Walgreens, when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.
