FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOX) -  Nobody was hurt but some scary moments at an apartment complex in Fairview Heights Tuesday night.

A neighbor noticed a man trying to break through the rear door of another unit at the Longacre Ponds Apartment Complex around 7 pm.

Police responded quickly to a 911 call and confronted the suspect, who fought with them and had to be tasered.

49-year-old Michael Coburn of Fairview Heights was charged with felony attempted burglary and is being held on $200,000 bond.
