ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Pinnacle Entertainment announces major donations to boost St. Louis tourism.
The parent company of Lumiere Place Casino announced millions in donations: Five million to revitalize the arch grounds and help connect downtown to the river. Six million to help establish a National Blues Museum.
The company is also donating a half million dollars to the St. Louis Police Department and its donating some land east Lumiere Place to Great Rivers Greenway. Part of the money will go to elevating Lenore K. Sullivan Boulevard, to keep it from flooding.
In making the announcement Pinnacle President and C.E.O. Anthony Sanfilippo said the company is proud to be part of the St. Louis tourism and business community and wants to continue to promote growth.
