Sam Dotson, St. Louis Police Chief
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners today named Captain D. Samuel Dotson the city’s 34th Chief of Police. Dotson is a 17 year veteran of the department. He had been operations Director for the City of St. Louis.
President of the Board of Police Commissioners, Col. Richard Gray, said Chief-designate Dotson will continue to ensure the City is a safe place to live, work and visit.
Dotson has served in numerous divisions within the police department including the Board of Police Commissioners, Intelligence and Operational Planning.
