St. Louis Still Ranks High in STDs
ST. LOUIS (AP) — The city of St. Louis continues to rank high in rates of sexually transmitted diseases.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch cites an annual report released Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing the city in 2011 ranked second for chlamydia and gonorrhea rates and 16th for syphilis rates.
In 2010, the city ranked second for chlamydia, third for gonorrhea and 20th for syphilis rates.
