Corey Reiling-Clark
MARTHASVILLE, MO (KMOX)-A teen-aged clerk is accused of hiding a friend in the cooler of the convenience store where he worked, so they could steal cash to buy pot and throw a party.
Warren County investigators say last Saturday Corey Reiling-Clark hid Jasper Meyer-Coates in the cooler at S & R Convenience store in Marthasville before closing time. Then after the store closed, deputies say surveillance video shows Meyer-Coates leaving the cooler, and heading to the sport where Reiling-Clark had hidden the cash and some checks.
Reiling-Clark and another teen, Jacob Fuse then picked up Meyer-Coates and drove to their hometown of Washington, where they split up their take.
Meyer-Coates was arrested on Tuesday. Reiling-Clark and Fuse were picked up Wednesday. Investigators were able to recover some of the checks but they say some were thrown away.
All three 17-year-olds are now in jail, held on $20,000 bond. They’re charged with second degree burglary and stealing over $500.
