ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A former Lincoln County sheriff’s deputy who sexually abused five women in the county’s drug court program is now headed to prison.
Federal prosecutors say a judge sentenced Scott Edwards of Troy, Mo. to ten years behind bars, plus three years supervised release.
The 50-year-old Edwards committed the acts between February 2009 and November 2010, while serving as a sheriff’s department detective and drug court tracker.
The St. Louis office of the FBI and Troy police handled the investigation.
