ST. LOUIS (AP) - Investigators in St. Louis are trying to determine if high winds caused a building collapse that trapped two people, including a woman who had to be rescued.
Firefighters were able to pull the unidentified woman from the rubble of the three-story building that collapsed Thursday afternoon.
Fire Capt. Dan Sutter says the building collapsed onto another three-story building. Fire fighters pulled the trapped woman out through a second-floor window. She declined medical treatment.
Wintry weather blew into the St. Louis region Thursday with strong wind gusts accompanied by mostly light but blowing snow.
