ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A man dies shortly after St. Louis city police use a stun gun to take him into custody.

Police say it happened after a foot chase early Sunday in the 3400 block of Kingshighway.

Officers began their pursuit, thinking the man may be a suspect in a recent robbery.

They say after catching up to the man, he began to fight them, and that’s when they used a Taser.

His official cause of death has not been determined.

Police are seeking to identify the man and notify his family.
