ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It looks like there could be accumulating snow on Christmas night.
The National Weather Service is issuing a “Winter Storm Watch” for the southern and southeastern counties in the St. Louis metro area, from six o’clock tomorrow night until six Wednesday morning.
Places like Farmington, Chester and Belleville are currently targeted for 5-8 inches of white stuff while the rest of the area can look for 2-4 inches.
The snow is predicted to begin late Tuesday and most of the accumulation is expected in the early morning hours Wednesday, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Doug Tilly.
