ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The Missouri Highway Patrol is releasing the names of two persons killed in crashes on Friday.
The first happened late that morning on northbound 270 at McDonnell Boulevard in Florissant.
Troopers say 48-year-old Talbert Brooks of St. Louis died as he was trying to push a stalled car with his vehicle.
A tractor trailer truck hit the back end of Brooks’ car.
The second crash happened in Jefferson County, shortly after noon on Friday.
Troopers say 19-year-old Victoria Karnes of Festus died in a “T-bone” collision at the intersection of southbound Route 67 and Buck Creek Road.
A passenger in her car suffered major injuries and had to be airlifted from the scene.
