POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KMOX) - Poplar Bluff Police officers and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers chasing a rape suspect quickly got more than they bargained for Thursday.
Police received information that Stephan Anderson was hiding in a home in the 800 block of Kinzer Street. He had been wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in Butler County on rape, robbery and burglary charges. He was arrested without incident.
Once inside the home, police found two more people along with drugs, drug paraphernalia and weapons. Also arrested were 55-year-old Danny Reed Sr. and 41-year-old Dorothy Eskridge, also of Poplar Bluff.
