Officials are looking for three suspects passing counterfeit bills at numerous Walgreens stores.
ST. PETERS, Mo. (KMOX) – St. Peters police are asking for the public’s help identifying three people who have used counterfeit bills at numerous Walgreens stores in St. Charles County.
Police say in the first week of January two Walgreens stores received several counterfeit $100 bills. Each time, the male suspects buy approximately $200 worth of items and paid with the counterfeit money. Later a woman would return the items, receiving legal currency.
Authorities believe the suspects, two men and one woman are involved in six incidences at various Walgreens stores in the St. Charles area.
Anyone with information about the identity and/or the whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call the St. Peters Police Department at 636-278-2222.
