St. Louis, MO (KMOX)–The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Flood Warning for the Big River at Byrnesville affecting Jefferson County. This Flood Warning is a result of 1 inch of rain falling in the past 24 hours and 1 to 1 1/2 inches of precipitation forecast in the next 24 hours.

In addition, a Winter Weather Advisory continues until 6 am Sunday. Sleet and Freezing Rain is expected to taper off during the early morning hours, but roads and sidewalks will be slippery.
