ST. PETERS, MO. (KMOX) - Police in St. Peter’s are asking for the public’s help in catching a thief.
The individual took stereo equipment from the WalMart store on Jungermann Road.
The thief struggled with a store manager in the parking lot and fled in a car. The manager was not hurt.
Neither the WalMart Manager or Police know if it was a man or woman. The person had a ball cap pulled tightly over their head.
During the struggle, some of the merchandise and a coat was left behind. Police say the thief returned to retrieve the coat.
St. Peter’s Police have released a surveillance camera photo of the suspect and the vehicle.
