ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Two men the St. Louis Prosecutor calls ‘young criminals’ have been sentenced to more than one hundred years combined jail time.
The Circuit Attorney says Alon Monigan and Raymon Denzmore carjacked and kidnapped two women at gun point on Washington Avenue on a freezing night in January three years ago, drove them around town and dropped them off on the side of a road.
The next day they struck again, this time in Lafayette Square, and more violently.
As a woman was walking to her home they tried to get her into a vehicle. The woman’s husband heard the struggle and when he went to help he was pistol whipped.
The pair got away but police spotted the car taken in the first incident and when they tried to pull the men over they crashed into a downtown restaurant.
Both have been found guilty on numerous counts. Alon Monigan received 57 years in prison. Raymon Denzmore got 44 years.
