ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Eight high school students, the bus driver and bus monitor were injured Tuesday afternoon when their school bus was hit by a car near the intersection of Grand and Martin Luther King around 3 p.m.

A spokesman for St. Louis Public Schools tells KMOX News the students are from Metro High School.

Authorities say all student are recovering from minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
