DELLWOOD, Mo. (KMOX) — Charges have been filed against the man accused of killing an acquaintance in Kinloch and then holding police at bay outside a Dellwood home for three hours Wednesday morning.
The 28-year-old Larry Wandrick was found hiding in the trunk of a car in the garage of a home in the 1700 block of Dowd at about 2:45 a.m., over an hour after tactical officers removed a two-year-old boy from the house.
Wandrick is accused of killing 38-year-old Michael Cunningham on Tuesday. Police say the two men were at an abandoned property when they got into a quarrel. Cunningham was shot in the face.
Wandrick is charged with one count of Murder in the First Degree (Class A Felony) and one count of Armed Criminal Action.
No bond was set in this case
