UPDATE: Woman Found In Suspicious South City Fire Had Been Stabbed

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The woman found Wednesday morning in a burning south St. Louis home had been stabbed to death.

That’s according to an autopsy performed on the body of Brinda Babcock. Babcock was found in a smoke-filled home in the 4000 block of Giles.

Police are not saying anything yet about a possible suspect or motive.

Another person who lives in the home was not present at the time the fire broke out.
