‘Beer Belly Bandit’ Robs Bank

WEBSTER GROVES, MO. (KMOX) – A man police say had a shaved head and a beer belly robbed a bank in Webster Groves yesterday.

It happened around 4:15 at the Commerce Bank at 8050 Big Bend.

Police say he used a demand note and indicated he had a weapon but did not show one. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Besides the beer belly and shaved head, police say he’s a black male, about 5′ 8″ tall. He could be 40 to 50 years old and weighs about 170 pounds.

He was wearing a red or pink shirt under a suede jacket and light colored pants.
