ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Veteran defenseman Wade Redden is hoping to revive his NHL career with the St. Louis Blues.
The club confirmed Friday it has reached a deal in principle with the 35-year-old Saskatchewan native.
Redden played 13 seasons in the NHL with Ottawa and the Rangers, before spending the past two in the minors.
Blues general manager Doug Armstrong says Redden is a solid two-way defenseman whose experience will complement and add stability to the team’s defensive core.
Redden’s expected to take a physical on Sunday.
