Two Students Robbed Near SLU Campus

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — The St. Louis Police Department has stepped up security around the Saint Louis University campus after two students were robbed in one week.

The first crime happened last Sunday at about 10 p.m. Police say a suspect armed with a small hand gun stole a woman’s bag.

Then around 2 a.m. Thursday another woman was robbed of her cell phone and purse by a suspect with a small silver handgun.

Neither victim was hurt. Police have not said if the incidents are related.
