Man Charged in 27 Home Burglaries

O’FALLON, MO. (KMOX) - An O’fallon Missouri man is in custody for stealing from vacant foreclosed homes.
Police say 23 year old Joshua Middleton is responsible for more than two dozen burglaries, including copper theft, in O’fallon and the surrounding area.
Police say they put out a plea to citizens to watch for any suspicious activity and it paid off. Someone spotted a man looking in the windows of vacant home then leaving in a truck.
Police located Middleton who admitted to burglarizing vacant foreclosed homes. He’s been charged with 27 counts of burglary.
