Shooting Outside Downtown Church

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Police are looking for two male suspects in a shooting outside the Centenary United Methodist Church in downtown St. Louis, early Sunday afternoon.

Police at the scene say the victim, described as a man in his early 20’s, was shot in the lower torso and is expected to survive.

Crime scene technicians collected seven pieces of evidence from the pavement on the Pine Street side of the building, near the entrance to where homeless persons come to be served meals.

The pastor of the church declined comment.
