BLACKJACK, MO. (KMOX) - A family of five had to flee their burning home in Blackjack Monday night.
They were watching T.V. in the 14000 block of Verdun Estates when they noticed the lights flickering and then realized their home was on fire.
Two adults and three children got out of the home safely and the Red Cross has come to their aid.
It was a two alarm blaze that started in the attic but an official cause has not been determined.
