ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A gun was found at a St. Louis elementary school on Wednesday.
It happened at Jefferson Elementary School on the near North side of St. Louis.
District spokesman Patrick Wallace tells KMOX “we do know the gun was brought into the school. At this point we believe we know who brought it in.”
Students at Jefferson Elementary School say a sixth grader had been terrorizing several students over a three day period, but the students were too afraid to tell anyone.
One boy says the student pointed the gun at his head in a bathroom. He then took it down and clicked it and the clip fell out, exposing a bullet.
Wallace says the school is now reevaluating security.
