ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Rams now have two wide receivers on their roster from Boise State University.
The team announced Tuesday that it had claimed Titus Young off the waiver wire. He will join fellow BSU alum Austin Pettis in the St. Louis offense.
The Detroit Lions put Young on waivers, Monday. The 2011 draft pick was placed on injured reserve last November, after Lions coach Jim Schwartz said he displayed unacceptable behavior.
Young was reportedly told to stay away from the Lions last offseason after punching teammate Louis Delmas when the safety wasn’t looking.
Young had 48 catches for 607 yards and 6 touchdowns his rookie season with Detroit.
