ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Police do not have him in custody yet but they know who they are looking for in Monday’s attempted robbery in the Central West End.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney issued a second-degree attempted robbery charge against 18-year-old Corie Harvey of St. Louis.

Police say Harvey was walking behind the victim on Maryland around eight o’clock Monday night when they believe he grabbed the victim’s neck and forced her to the ground. He searched the woman’s coat and pants pockets before running off.

The victim was not physically hurt.
