ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – A Spanish Lake woman who admitted murdering her 11-month-old daughter is scheduled to be sentenced today.

30-year-old Latoshia Washington entered an Alford plea to a second degree murder charge in November, admitting there was enough evidence to convict her.

Washington told police she squeezed, shook and slammed Jewel into a car seat in their apartment on El Tigre in August of 2010. She has three other children, ages 2, 3 and 4.
