E. ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The St. Clair County Illinois State’s Attorney credits the Major Case Squad with the arrests of three people that allegedly robbed members of an East St. Louis church.

17-year old Howard Dotson Junior, 20-year old Rufus Thomas and Kenneth Walton are charged with 36 counts of Armed Robbery.

Brendan Kelly says last month, the three masked gunmen went into the Ira Grove Free Will Baptist Church and held up twelve worshipers.

As part of the investigation, Simone Foster and DeAndre Spatz were also arrested and face Obstruction of Justice charges.

Also, Spatz is charged with holding up the Auto Zone in East Saint Louis.
