ST. CHARLES/HAZELWOOD (KMOX) - Six people are in custody after they allegedly went into St. Charles West High School this afternoon and started fighting with students.
The four adults and two juveniles in custody were not affiliated with the school.
Meanwhile two Hazelwood schools, Armstrong Elementary and Hazelwood West High, were on lock-down briefly Friday. School spokesperson Diana Guilota tells K-M-O-X, it was as a precaution because one student was allegedly chasing another student with a gun. The incident did not take place inside any school buildings.
The schools were taken off lock-down without incident. The two students involved in the incident were released to their parents.
