ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Blues could have goaltender Jaroslav Halak back in the net for Monday night’s home game against Los Angeles.
The Blues announced Sunday that they’ve activated Halak from injured reserve and assigned goalie Jake Allen to minor league affiliate Peoria.
Halak, who suffered a groin strain in the Feb. 1 game against Detroit, began taking shots in practice over the weekend. He missed three games with the injury.
Halak has posted a 3-0-0 record in five appearances this seaon, to go with a 2.10 goals-against average and an .889 save percentage. He is tied for the NHL lead with two shutouts.
