A suburban Kansas City man charged with possessing child pornography and chatting online with other child porn suspects about cooking and eating children wants to go to federal court in Kansas City today to change his plea.
38-year-old Michael Arnett of Roeland Park, Kansas, was arrested last May after federal agents discovered that a plastic water bottle in a pornographic photograph carried the name of a Kansas City area swim club.
Other photos allegedly taken by Arnett show a small child sitting naked in a roasting pan inside an oven.

Teachers at a suburban Kansas City grade school have identified the children as their students.

Prosecutors say, while they found the photos on Artnett’s computer, there was no evidence of cannibalism.
