EDWARDSVILLE, IL. (KMOX) - A Livingston Illinois man and woman are charged with several counts in connection with possession of heroin, and the man has additional charges against him for allegedly attacking a jail guard.
Madison County Deputies were called to a home on Brown Street in Livingston by a landlord who said the couple was fighting.
When police arrived , 28 year old William Holland ran from the home and 24 year old Tiffany Mims was found hiding in a closet. When police caught Holland he began kicking the interior of a squad car and when he arrived at the county jail, deputies say he attacked a jailer hitting him in the back.
Back at the home in Livingston, police found suspected heroin, syringes, a brass cannabis pipe and additional drug paraphernalia.
William Holland is jailed on $60,000 bond. Tiffany Mims is held on $15,000 bond.
