ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Charges have been filed against the person police say shot and killed a man on the metro platform at 2nd and Washington on Tuesday.

24 year old Akira Edmonds of St. Louis is charged with First Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.

33 year old Charles Campbell of East St. Louis was shot in the chest and groin and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Edmonds is being held without bond.
