EOLIA, Mo. (KMOX) - The search for a missing Eolia, Missouri woman has ended tragically. Her body was found in a creek near her home, around noon Sunday.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says 48-year-old Jennifer Bogert appears to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

She was last seen Friday when she failed to show up at work.

our earlier story:

TROY, Mo. (KMOX) - The Lincoln County Sheriff’s office is asking for help in finding a missing Eolia woman.

Forty-eight-year-old Jennifer Bogert was last seen Friday morning about 7:45.

Friends say she didn’t make it to work in Bowling Green— her husband was notified — and he went home to find her car, keys, purse, and other belongings still there.

A helicopter and canine search Friday night turned up no clues. Searchers were out again Saturday morning looking for Bogert.

She’s described as a 5’4″ tall 120 pound white woman with black hair and brown eyes.
