Ellisville City Council members on Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 (KMOX/Michael Calhoun)
Ellisville, MO (KMOX)– You heard it first on KMOX nearly a year ago when the debate over tax breaks for a Walmart in Ellisville erupted.
Now, Ellisville Mayor Adam Long is likely safe from impeachment after a short but contentious meeting.
Though his lawyer was thrown out of the meeting for continuing to interrupt the Charter Enforcement Commission, members voted to throw out the complaint that the mayor had unlawfully ordered an officer to remove a person from a meeting.
Paul says he’s trying to put this behind him. The final word will come from the city council on Wednesday.
