Michael Bryant is charged with second degree murder and attempted burglary.
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The accomplice of a 15-year-old shot and killed early Friday while trying to burglarize a home in south St. Louis is charged in his murder.
Charges were issued Friday, as KMOX News reported, but police didn’t release a photo of 17-year-old Michael Bryant until Monday morning.
Investigators say the resident of a home in the 3700 block of Tennessee heard Bryant and 15-year-old Demetrius Murphy trying to break-in around 1:30 am Friday.
When he went outside to investigate the homeowner fired at Murphy, killing him.
