NORMANDY (KMOX) - St. Louis County police are not sure if they’re searching for a robber or a kidnapper.

Last night, a man robbed a Schnucks store on South Florissant. He ran out of the store and jumped into a vehicle to make his getaway but someone else was inside that vehicle.

Police aren’t sure if that person was an accomplice or someone he carjacked. They also say the suspect tussled with a security officer before fleeing.

The vehicle is described as a maroon Ford Expedition. The suspect is described as a black male, about six-and-a-half feet tall, weighing 300 pounds and wearing a black “Detroit Tigers” jacket.
