GLEN CARBON, Ill. (KMOX) — Customers and the owner of an IHOP Restaurant in Glen Carbon have replenished a donation jar that had been stolen.

Donations were being collected for an IHOP worker fighting breast cancer, but sometime on Monday the jar was stolen.

Now KMOX is told customers and the owner have donated $2,800. Owner, Kal Ramadan, donated 20-percent of one day’s proceeds and customers gave the rest.

The restaurant is on Highway 159, on the main drag through Glen Carbon. Police continue to investigate the theft.
