ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The Blues will be without the services of rookie sensation Vladimir Tarasenko for a while.

The team announced Friday that Tarasenko has been placed on injured reserve, after getting hurt during the third period of Wednesday’s game at Colorado.

No timetable is set for his return.

The Blues called up Chris Porter from Peoria to take Tarasenko’s roster spot.
