ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Weather may still have road conditions a little icy, but planes, trains and Metro Bus are all looking alright today.
Officials with Metro and Amtrak say their trains are running on time today on the usual schedule. Metro bus services are also running on the normal Friday schedule, but that could change if road conditions worsen.
Lambert International Airport remains open, but with a few flight cancelations, and Kansas City International Airport is open after being closed Thursday. Officials at Lambert says the bulk of its cancellations and delays will be this morning.
“As you know the storm is moving across the Midwest to the East, some cancellations may be the result of that storm in other cities,” Lambert spokesman Jeff Lea said.
As of 7 a.m. Friday Lambert reports 36 departing flights and 17 arriving flights cancelled. Kansas City airport’s website shows nearly all flights cancelled until around 8:30 a.m., when flights are mostly listed as on time.
