BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - Two Belleville men are jailed in St. Clair County on armed robbery charges.

Belleville police say 18-year-old George Lacey and 19-year-old Joseph Harris are accused of plotting and carrying out Friday afternoon’s hold-up in the 200 block of North 12th Street.

Investigators determined the suspects knew their victim.

A search of two Belleville homes turned up evidence related to the robbery.

A judge set bond for Lacey and Harris at $100,000 each.
