ST. PETERS (KMOX) - A missing St. Peters woman has been found alive and safe in Illinois.

Cara Ascencio left home three weeks ago after getting into an argument with a family member. No one had heard from her since.

Police were concerned because Ascensio has a brain injury and other mental health issues which have left her developmentally disabled.
