ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The iconic Budweiser sign at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis underwent a transformation in the past month and the company has now released a time-lapse video of the event.
The 150-foot-long sign was taken down last month for the first time since it was installed in 1979. The brewery spent more than $500,000 to make the sign shine more brightly, using LED technology that will better stand up to the elements.
Officials say the revitalized sign is 60 percent more energy-efficient than the old one.
