BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - Slick roads may be to blame for two deadly traffic crashes in St. Clair County, Friday night.

The coroner’s office says 26-year-old Robin Scott and 17-year-old Jyieosha DeWalt — both of Collinsville — were killed when their car hit a van head-on near the Our Lady of the Snows Shrine in Belleville.

The second crash happened on the Route 13 overpass at Route 15.

51-year-old Thomas Hutchison and 9-year-old Zachary Hutchison —both of Belleville — died a short time later at hospitals.
