ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Saint Louis University has named Professor Michael Wolff as the new dean of the law school.
The announcement Tuesday comes a day after interim dean Tom Keefe resigned.
Keefe told KMOX’s Kevin Killeen Monday that he was too “outspoken” for the job as dean, “I say so much stuff, I don’t remember what I say.”
Wolff is currently a professor at SLU’s law school and was selected after an extensive search that involved law faculty, students, staff and alumni. Wolff is a highly respected lawyer who has a long and distinguished career, including serving on the Missouri’s Supreme Court from 1998-2011, and being named Lawyer of the Year by Missouri Lawyers’ Weekly in 2007.
SLU law school had been without a dean since August when former Dean Annette Clark resigned in a dispute with University President Father Biondi.
