St. Louis Woman Charged In Christmas Eve Murder

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) – A St. Louis woman has allegedly confessed to a Christmas Eve murder.
Second-degree murder charges were filed against 27-year-old Danielle Mack-Jones Tuesday. Police say Mack-Jones stabbed 39-year-old Freeman Whitfield to death inside his North St. Louis County apartment on Dec. 24, 2012.
St. Louis County police say the two knew each other and lived in the same apartment complex.
Mack-Jones was taken into custody Tuesday and, according to police, confessed to the murder.
